You're in the thick of creating your baby registry, and all of the sudden you're being shown wraps and slings and soft structured carriers- you've entered the world of babywearing. But don't normal people just carry their babies?
The truth is, once baby has arrived, you might find yourself with a baby who wants to be held basically all the time. And although those baby snuggles can't be beat, you might find yourself wishing you had your hands free to eat dinner. Enter, babywearing.

Babywearing is a great way to let baby have that contact that they need, while also giving yourself the space and freedom of movement to take care of yourself and/or older kiddos. There's no one way to babywear. Some people like the snuggly comfort of a stretchy wrap, some enjoy the click and go ease of a soft-structured carrier, others like traditional carriers like woven wraps and meh dais. But whatever you choose, learning babywearing is a skill that won't let you down, particularly in the 4th trimester.
